In a stunning display of teamwork, resilience, and exceptional badminton prowess, McLarens Group A Team emerged as the triumphant force in the highly anticipated 11th Mercantile Badminton Inter Firm Team Doubles Championship 2023 – Grand Slam. The collective effort and synergy displayed by the team throughout the tournament left spectators in awe, cementing their status as a dominant force in the world of team badminton.

The 11th Mercantile Badminton Inter Firm Team Doubles Championship 2023 renowned for attracting top teams from across firms in Sri Lanka, witnessed intense battles and high-stakes clashes that pushed competitors to their limits. Throughout the tournament McLarens Group, A Team demonstrated unparalleled coordination, strategic brilliance, and a deep understanding of each other's playing styles.

McLarens Group A team defeated Hayleys A team in the finals of the tournament by winning 3 matches from a total of 5 matches to clinch the trophy.

The team comprised of Naduni Gamage(C) , Mangala Gamage, Navin Perera, Rohan Fernando, Sasini Hansamali, Lochana De Silva and C.D. Samantha with their names marked in the records of team badminton, serves as a shining example for future generations, demonstrating that greatness is attainable when individuals unite as one to pursue a shared dream.
