McLarens Group recognizes and celebrates employee achievements at the MD’s Awards 2024

McLarens Group hosted its prestigious Managing Directors Awards at the Monarch Imperial on 8th of November 2024. The event was a gathering of the Group’s leadership and over 400 staff from across 40 companies within the Group. Adding a touch of history and sentiment, the event was graced by special guests from Scotland—the son and wife of Thomas Hunt, one of the initial business partners of McLarens Group founder J.D. McLaren. The event was also livestreamed to all McLarens employees who were unable to join physically. The occasion also marked the official launch of McLarens Group’s 75th Anniversary logo and the unveiling of the 75 Years Legacy Journey video, commemorating the Group’s origin story and key milestones.

The MD’s Awards celebrated outstanding achievements across the financial years 2021/22 and 2022/23. The awards were categorized into Individual, Team, and Company awards, each recognizing exceptional contributions to McLarens Group’s continued growth and excellence.

Individual Awards Nine subcategories were celebrated under Individual Awards, with each award featuring three nominees and one winner. The categories included: • Sales Champion • Best Sales Leader • Operations Champion • Best Operations Leader • Internal Service Champion • Best Leader in Service Excellence • Best Service & Dedication • Technical & Engineering Champion • Customer Service Excellence Team Awards Team efforts were recognized with accolades for: • Best Value Generation Activity • Best Cost Rationalization Award Company Awards Company-level achievements were honored in the following categories: • Best Performing Company • Most Innovative Company • Best People Culture • Superior Financial Performance • Best CSR Activity • Best Growth Initiative The highlight of the evening was the announcement of the Overall Best Company Award, which was won by GAC Logistics Ltd.

The MD’s Awards 2024 was not just a celebration of achievements but also a testament to the shared commitment of McLarens Group’s teams and individuals towards excellence, innovation, and growth. As the Group embarks on its 75th year, the event served as a reminder of the legacy it upholds and the promising future that lies ahead.
