McLarens Group Elevates Public Speaking Skills Through Speechcraft 2025

At McLarens Group, we believe that strong communication is at the heart of effective leadership. In partnership with the Pinnacle Toastmasters Club, we successfully concluded the Speechcraft Training Program on the 6th of June.

The event showcased the remarkable progress of 18 Speechcrafters who took part in both prepared and impromptu speaking contests. The evening featured a warm welcome by Ms. Manik Welikala, Head of Learning and Development, followed by a program briefing by Toastmaster Praveen Nanayakkara. With 12 prepared speeches and 6 impromptu speeches delivered, the participants demonstrated the participants’ improved articulation, confidence, and stage presence.

Feedback from experienced Toastmasters, followed by an award ceremony, marked the successful conclusion of the program. The initiative not only strengthened individual communication skills but also reinforced the company’s commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
