Hotel Topaz Chefs Cook Up a Win at The Culinary Art Competition 2025
Hotel Topaz, a subsidiary of the McLarens Group, brought home a remarkable victory at the Culinary Art Competition 2025. The competition was organized by the Chefs Guild of Lanka with the support of the World Association of Chefs’ Societies during the Culinary Art Food Expo held at the BMICH from the 13th to 15th of June. This outstanding performance reflects the dedication, creativity and the culinary expertise of the culinary team of Hotel Topaz who stood out among over 2,000 competitors.
The culinary professionals of Hotel Topaz were able to secure 3 Silver medals in the event categories of Keells Apprentice Set Menu Live, Cargills Hot Cooking Live and Pyramid Wilmar Dress the Cake, as well as 7 Bronze medals in categories including Cargills Hot Cooking Seafood, Zara Pasta Challenge, Prima Artisan Bread Creations and several other events.
This milestone underscores the exceptional talent and relentless hard work of our culinary team, and their success further solidifies the hotel’s reputation for culinary excellence.
