We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven General Manager Commercial to lead and grow the Group’s shipping-related businesses, including GAC Shipping, Marine, and Ship Supply Services Sectors. This senior leadership role is responsible for marketing end-to-end Group shipping solutions, driving new business development, and delivering sustainable commercial growth across the sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead group-level commercial and business development activities for the shipping sector.
- Drive new business acquisition and market expansion across shipping and marine services.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with Group objectives.
- Build and maintain key customer, principal, and stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the Group at customer meetings and industry engagements.
Skills and Experience Required
- 5 –7 years of proven experience in Shipping, Marine, Offshore Energy, or Maritime Business Development at a senior commercial level.
- Strong understanding of international shipping operations, trade routes, tramp cargo, sea marshal, and OPL operations.
- Demonstrated success in new business development, key account management, and commercial strategy execution.
- Strong analytical capability with sound market and commercial judgment.
