Executive – Store

McLarens Group is now seeking an aspiring, energetic, and competent individual to join its subsidiary company, Spectra Logistics (Pvt) Limited. Spectra is one of Sri Lanka’s leading providers of end-to-end logistics services encompassing contract logistics, container depot, integrated transportation, and customs brokerage. We meet our customers’ logistics and supply chain needs through a combination of our operational and service excellence and our extensive resources, which include the Spectra Distribution Center at the Spectra Logistics Park in Wattala and a well-equipped container yard with our own vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels, including re-ordering and stock availability.
• Maintain accurate and timely system updates and reporting.
• Oversee store operations, including space management and proper arrangement of goods.
• Verify deliveries and ensure proper issuance and documentation of items.
• Conduct quality checks and monitor stock accuracy through cycle counts.
• Handle returns, credit notes, and finance-related documentation.
• Monitor diesel usage and variances.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards.
• Coordinate transport, labor, and related operational activities.
• Track returnable items and ensure timely follow-up on pending returns.
• Assess damaged or obsolete items and coordinate disposal/reuse approvals.
• Support management with monthly reports and inventory insights.

Skills and Experience Required

• G.C.E. A/L or a Diploma in Logistics or Store Management.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and coordination abilities.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Stores Executive.
