We seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and competent Executive – Pharmacist to join its subsidiary, Spectra Logistics (Pvt) Ltd. As one of Sri Lanka’s leading integrated logistics service providers, Spectra specializes in contract logistics, transportation, container depot operations, customs brokerage, and pharmaceutical warehousing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintaining the highest standards of pharmaceutical quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor stock aging and prepare management reports.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical quality standards, SOPs, GWP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality audits, manage compliance activities, and support customer/regulatory inspections.
- Monitor pharmaceutical operations including batch control, FEFO/FIFO practices, product segregation, recalls, quarantine management, and temperature control.
- Ensure warehouse processes comply with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with customers, regulatory authorities, and internal teams on compliance-related matters.
- Conduct staff awareness and training programs on SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory updates.
- Maintain accurate compliance records, licenses, certifications, and quality documentation.
- Ensure proper temperature control, documentation, and compliance in pharmaceutical storage operations.
Skills and Experience Required
- Qualified Pharmacist registered with the Sri Lanka Medical Council with a valid Pharmacy License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist; experience in pharmaceutical operations or warehouse environments will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical quality standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices.
- Good computer literacy
- English communication skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
