We’re looking for a motivated Executive – Claims to join our team and support our commitment to delivering exceptional service in P&I case management.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle P&I cases by following established processes and guidelines.
- Thoroughly review and understand reports from external surveyors and present clear, actionable feedback to clients.
- Offer well-considered recommendations to vessel owners to address and resolve issues, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Follow all IG club guidelines for issue resolution and P&I case management.
- Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure the highest level of service.
- Work towards establishing and maintaining a strong reputation in handling P&I cases by delivering exemplary service and striving for excellence in all aspects of the role.
- Develop and nurture relationships with both international and local stakeholders.
- Manage a wide range of claims and incidents as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as required by management in line with the role.
Skills and Experience Required
- Successful completion of the Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers (ICS) or completed Basic Ship Agency functions course is an added advantage.
- 1-2 year of experience in similar role in the shipping industry is ideal & having shipping agency operations related knowledge & experience is a definite advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex reports & provide actionable feedback.
- Strong intention to learn, grow & innovate.
- Systematic, rigorous, determined, and highly perceptive.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
