We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive – Accounts to join our Finance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting vendor payments, banking activities, account reconciliations, and financial documentation while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and verify vendor invoices and supporting documents, including POs, contracts, and agreements, and obtain necessary approvals for payment processing.
- Process vendor payments accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders to ensure sufficient funds are available for scheduled payments.
- Ensure all relevant input VAT documentation is accurately maintained and submitted for VAT processing.
- Obtain and reconcile vendor balance confirmations to ensure expenses and fund transfers are accurately recorded.
- Support the implementation and effective use of online banking platforms for vendor payments.
- Identify and support process improvements and automation initiatives within the Finance function.
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Experience Required
- BSc Degree in Accounting or part qualification in CA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with vendors, banks, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic finance environment.
