Executive Accounts

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and committed professional to join our Finance team as an Accounts Executive. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting and operational finance knowledge, particularly within the logistics and shipping industry, and be capable of coordinating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support operational accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle operational finance activities, reporting, and payment coordination.
• Preparation of SOAs and check funding status before payments execution .
• Coordinate banking transactions, supplier payments, and reimbursements.
• Monitor operational financial records, refunds, and settlements.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and HSSE standards.
• Assist with operational accounting tasks and ad-hoc finance-related activities.

Skills and Experience Required

• Part qualification or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Sri Lanka/CIMA/ACCA/AAT or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of mercantile experience, preferably in shipping, logistics, or operational finance.
• Understanding of logistics operations, NVOCC reporting, operational processes, and SLPA/terminal tariffs.
• Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with principals, suppliers, terminals, banks, and operational teams.
• Experience in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
