Bunkering

We own and operate Sri Lanka’s largest fleet of bunker tankers/barges, used for importing, storing, and delivering bunker fuels. In addition to the fleet, we have access to multiple shore-based facilities for the storage of marine fuels. Delivery may be facilitated through barge, tank truck, or pipeline as per customer requirements.

Global Sourcing/Logistics of Bunker Fuels

IOE has an international supply chain network comprising the leading suppliers of global petroleum products, thus guaranteeing the quality and availability of fuels at all times.

Sourcing of Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO), High Sulphur Fuel Oil (HSFO), and Low Sulphur Marine Gas Oil (LSMGO) as well as intermediate grades, in line with ISO 8217 Quality Standards
Execution of end-to-end loading operations through an in-house Fleet.
Coordination of external sourcing solutions and chartering of vessels.

Physical Bunker Supply

We execute physical supply operations within the territorial waters of Sri Lanka in line with MARPOL Annexure VI guidelines.

An experienced operations team with specialist knowledge and expertise in barge, pipeline, and truck operations.
Full-time physical barge presence off both the east and west coast for operational flexibility.
