In keeping in line with one of our core Group CSR area, our recent focus has been on facilitating and supporting kids around the country in regard to their education, sports and even their daily lives.
MENHANDY, School for the Exceptional Child, is a non-profit organization that helps the mentally and physically disabled children from low income families. Their goals include the development of basic communication skills, physical fitness and daily life skills.
The McLarens Group was proud to partner with this worthy cause by taking over the sponsorship of 10 children on a long term commitment. Adults and children alike at MENHADY, suffer from Autism, Hyper activeness, Down syndrome, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy and other conditions associated with intellectual impairment and the we believes that each and every one of them should be able to lead their lives just like everybody else.
The MENHANDY School for the Exceptional Child aims to start a training institute that will educate people with the above disabilities to become independent by working and managing their disabilities, both socially and academically. We hope to be a part of this development and we are glad that we were able to do our part in pushing the goals of this school forward.
