McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Maritime & Logistics cluster as a Senior Manager-Sales & Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Meet with customers to secure new business opportunities and drive revenue growth for the company.
- Target Achievement: Prepare and plan strategies to successfully achieve sales and marketing targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Risk Management: Ensure adherence to credit policies, follow up on payments, and minimize the risk of debtors to protect the company’s financial interests.
- Team Leadership & Education: Maintain strong relationships with carriers, airlines, and forwarders, and keep the sales team updated on market changes and industry trends.
- Strategic Decision Making: Present market statistics and updates to management to aid in making informed business decisions.
Qualifications and skills
- BSc degree in Logistics or a related field.
- A qualification in Sales and Marketing is an added advantage.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in sales, particularly in freight forwarding.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
