McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Maritime & Logistics cluster as a Senior Executive – Sales & Marketing (Air Freight sales).
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with new customers and secure new businesses to generate revenues for the company.
- Develop innovative ideas and strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining existing customer relationships.
- Coordinate and oversee air freight shipments from booking to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
- Negotiate rates with airlines and other service providers to optimize cost efficiency for customers.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service contracts to prospective clients.
- Adhere to credit policies and diligently follow up on payments to minimize debtor risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide timely updates and reports to management on sales activities, performance, and market trends.
Skills and Experience Required
- 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding specially in Air cargo.
- Should carry a solid client base.
- Relevant professional qualifications in Logistics field.
- Should possess excellent communications skills and good command in English.
- Should hold a valid driving license.
- Should be a self-motivated and flexible character who can work under pressure.
