Sales Executive

McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Manufacturing & Distribution cluster as an Executive Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set challenging sales targets for self and team, consistently deliver results.
  • Ensure each team member prepares and shares their monthly work plan with Supervisors on time.
  • Supervise the execution of work plans, ensuring any deviation is approved by the Line Manager.
  • Engage with potential customers, generate leads, and secure confirmed orders to meet company sales objectives.
  • Oversee product display and Point of Sales Material (POSM) installation to ensure maximum brand visibility.
  • Attend Monthly Debtor Meetings, follow up on commitments, and ensure all transactions comply with company credit policies to minimize risk.
  • Conduct regular market research to monitor competitor activities and report market insights to the management.
  • Prepare and submit Daily Call , Weekly Itinerary, Monthly Sales Targets reports critical to strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Sales and Marketing role.
  • Marketing qualification, ideally from the Chartered Institute of Marketing or an equivalent institution.
  • Strong understanding of automotive, lubricants, and industrial products.
  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong influencing abilities and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Experience in FMCG or other non-lubricant industries will also be considered.
