McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Maritime & Logistics cluster as a Manager-Sales & Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Meet with customers to understand their needs and secure new business opportunities, driving revenue to the company.
- Target Achievement: Develop and execute detailed plans to meet and exceed sales and marketing targets.
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Identify new customers and foster strong relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.
- Financial Oversight: Adhere to credit policies, ensuring timely follow-ups on payments and minimizing the risk of debtors to protect company finances.
- Industry Networking & Team Education: Maintain strong relationships with carriers, airlines, and forwarders.
- Regularly update and educate the sales team on market changes, trends, and industry best practices.
- Strategic Decision Support: Present market statistics and insights to management, aiding in strategic business decisions.
Qualifications and skills
- 5-7 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding/logistics industry.
- Professional qualification/BSc degree in Logistics or related field.
- Qualification in Sales and Marketing is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong command of the English language.
