McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Maritime & Logistics cluster as a Manager – Customs House Brokering.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement systems for service enhancement.
- Ensure productivity and efficiency goals are met.
- Introduce new customers and contribute to the Gross Profit (GP) of the division.
- Achieve Volume/Revenue targets, comparing actual performance against budgeted goals.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide quotations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain effective communication within the network to enhance divisional performance.
- Conduct debtor follow-ups and meet Debtor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Handle Customs complaints and issues, addressing customer feedback.
- Visit regulatory bodies/authorities to provide updates.
- Conduct customer visits to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor and respond to customer feedback.
- Monitor expenses, approve and confirm financial transactions.
- Follow up on the settlement of IOUs, suspense vouchers, petty cash, etc., within agreed timelines.
- Support and monitor administrative and HR requirements of the division.
Skills and Experience Required
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Customs House Brokering.
- Possession of valid CHA/SLPA passes, demonstrating regulatory compliance.
- Thorough knowledge in Import/Export, with specialization in Sea/Air Customs Brokering.
- Strong network and connectivity within the customs and logistics industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & Leadership Skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive and dynamic personality, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
