McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Manufacturing & Distribution cluster as a Maintenance Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the division budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Foster positive relationships among depot staff and manage repair shop teams efficiently.
- Plan and manage rosters, spare part orders, and supplier relationships.
- Prepare cost estimates for vehicle repairs, damages, and maintenance.
- Ensure timely and quality outsourced repairs within budget.
- Prioritize daily repairs to maintain operational vehicle availability.
- Conduct market evaluations for equipment disposals and maintain tools effectively.
- Uphold health and safety standards through regular checks and training programs.
- Track repair statistics, spare part usage, stock levels, and supplier performance.
- Lead recruitment, guide team development, and enhance staff engagement and loyalty.
Qualifications and skills
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of staff.
- Proficiency in MS Office and email correspondence.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
