McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Maritime & Logistics cluster as a Junior Executive – Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Be fully conversant with the operational procedures outlined in the Shipping Department’s operations manual.
- Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from principals/customers and handle allocated operations efficiently.
- Stay current with all operational procedures and GAC system-related activities.
- Execute assigned tasks in strict adherence to the checklist and operations manual.
- Ensure compliance with all GAC policies including compliance, ethics, and sanction guidelines.
- Follow up on allocated jobs until completion, keeping supervisors well-informed.
- Coordinate and collect balance payments for all handled operations.
- Prepare and update statistical reports as requested by management.
- Liaise with the disbursement accounts department to monitor outstanding payments and finalize jobs post vessel departure.
- Assist in acquiring new principals and achieving monthly KPIs and budget targets.
- Promote and update daily launch facilities for both local and foreign principals.
- Be available 24/7 for operational duties and board vessels as needed during emergencies or vessel movements inside and outside port limits.
Skills and Experience Required
- Diploma in Shipping or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar operational role.
- Strong communication and IT skills.
- Excellent public relations (PR) abilities.
- Sharp analytical and reasoning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call as required.
