McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Leisure cluster as a Hotel Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies with the MD to attract guests and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with the team to promote the hotel across various channels, including online and traditional advertising.
- Participate in sales meetings with travel agents, corporate clients, and partners to generate leads and secure bookings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and business partners.
- Attend industry events to expand the hotel’s network and visibility.
- Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
- Schedule shifts and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide leadership and foster a positive work environment to promote teamwork.
- Ensure guests receive excellent service and address concerns in a timely manner.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the guest experience.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee daily operations, monitor hotel performance, and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in a star-class hotel.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, management accounting, taxation.
