General Technician

McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Manufacturing & Distribution cluster as a General Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the Sewer Treatment Plant (STP), including daily backwash procedures.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing, painting, welding, and basic electrical work.
• Track reefer energy consumption, water usage, and maintain accurate log sheets.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify faults in AC units, electrical systems, pumps, and water leakages.
• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to support yard operations.
• Supervise and guide subordinates, ensuring proper use of tools and equipment.

Qualifications and skills

• Passed G.C.E. O/L.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Good health and physical condition.
• Strong knowledge of welding, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work, repair, and wiring.
