McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Leisure cluster as a Director/General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the hotel’s financial success by exceeding KPIs and revenue goals, with primary focus on guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing for revenue-generating strategies.
- Stay ahead of market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Lead a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Develop and mentor department heads to align with hotel goals wild monitoring & developing team members performance.
- Ensure daily operations are seamless, with attention to guest satisfaction.
- Monitor guest feedback and address issues to exceed guest expectations & elevate and guest experience.
- Uphold high hospitality standards, ensuring memorable guest experiences.
- Manage the hotel’s budget, forecasting revenue and controlling expenses.
- Regularly evaluate financial performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain brand standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners.
- Serve as the liaison between hotel ownership and corporate management.
- Innovate and adapt strategies to meet the ever-changing hospitality demands.
Skills and Experience Required
- Prior experience in hospitality at Senior Managerial level or above. Resort Management experience would be an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, or a related field, is preferred. An MBA would be considered as an added advantage.
- Proven success in managing remote operations and delivering commercial returns and revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Solid understanding of financial management principles, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Innovative, dynamic, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to adapt to the ever-changing demands of the hospitality industry.
