McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Maritime & Logistics cluster as an Executive Sales (Liner Shipping).
Key Responsibilities
- Dynamic, self-driven, target oriented, passionate individual who can win customers over competition.
- Ability to make excellent business relationships, retain existing customers and secure new to enhance volume / revenue for the company.
- Provide timely and professional responses to customer requests / requirements. (via phone/ email)
- Provide excellent customer service to the customer “go the extra mile” to be top of the mind recall of customers.
- Should be a proactive, team player who is willing to assist team whenever required.
- Be able to follow guidelines, adhere to deadlines methodical and UpToDate.
Qualifications and skills
- Should have excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
- Should be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent written/verbal & interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and influencing ability.
- A Diploma or similar qualification in the field of shipping and logistics will be an added advantage.
- Should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Sales at a shipping /Logistics/Freight Forwarding company.
