McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Maritime & Logistics cluster as an Executive – Operations cum Sales (MCC/Consolidation).
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement comprehensive strategies to achieve LCL/MCC volume targets, focusing on streamlining weekly consolidation services for optimal efficiency.
- Conduct proactive & prospective sales calls and promote GLL/MCO consolidation services.
- Manage and nurture healthy relationships with customers, ensuring positive interactions and resolving issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Take ownership of customer issues and ensure follow-through until resolution, prioritizing customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and maintain a robust agency LCL/Consol network.
- Take responsibility for customer dues, actively follow up with debtors, and ensure timely collections to optimize cash flow and financial stability.
- Enhance relationships with ocean carriers, airlines, container depots, warehouses, 3PL service providers, transporters, and related vendors to ensure smooth & efficient operations.
Qualifications and skills
- Strong understanding of sales concepts, methods, and techniques, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Demonstrated industry knowledge and an established pool of LCL/MCC customers and forwarders.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics or shipping industry.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in computer skills and communication tools, including MS Office Suite and CRM systems.
