Executive - Learning & Development

McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under shared service as an Executive – Learning & Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute company-wide Induction Programs, including online onboarding session.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including calendar scheduling and arranging snacks for participants.
  • Gather and analyze participant feedback for all training programs, and share insights with relevant departments.
  • Assist with finalizing and communicating individual training plans and training needs via email.
  • Send compiled feedback reports to Heads of Departments within two days of training sessions.
  • Ensure timely registration for external training programs as requested, and manage post-training evaluations.
  • Support knowledge sharing and follow-up on key learnings after training programs.
  • Maintain and update the Training Database with details on programs, participants, and costs.
  • Assist in organizing internal training programs, including designing flyers and managing participant nominations.
  • Prepare monthly training reports such as the Training Calendar and update L&D KPIs.
  • Support special HR projects and organizational development initiatives, including awards programs and employee engagement activities.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Degree in Human Resources or HR Professional qualification in HRD.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar Learning & Development role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI / MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with Strong creativity and innovative thinking skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to deliver / coordinate training sessions and reports effectively.
  • Fluent in English and Sinhala, with strong written and spoken communication skills in both languages.
  • Willingness to travel outstation and work on weekends when required.
  • Prior experience in working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
