McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Maritime & Logistics cluster as an Executive Admin.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Roster Management: Develop and maintain an efficient staff roster to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Attendance and Overtime Records: Accurately record daily attendance and overtime hours for all staff.
- HRIS Management: Update and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee data.
- Petty Cash & Sundry Expenses: Handle petty cash float and manage sundry expenses efficiently.
- Staff Welfare: Look after staff welfare, including organizing lunch and night rations.
- Approvals & Documentation: Secure necessary approvals from HIPG, customs, and other relevant authorities.
- Payment Liaison: Coordinate with the head office on all payment and settlement matters.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the upkeep and record-keeping of all office vehicles.
- Stationery & Office Supplies: Maintain an adequate supply of stationery and ensure the proper functioning of office equipment.
- Medical & Insurance Claims: Facilitate the processing of staff medical and insurance claims.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the HIPG and Sinopec teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and skills
- At least 2 years of experience in an office environment (preferred, not compulsory).
- Understanding and application of local labor regulations.
- Ability to effectively use and manage Human Resource Information Systems.
- Skill in managing petty cash, sundry expenses, and financial records.
- Effective communication with head office, authorities, and staff.
- Knowledge of HR tools and systems is a plus.
- Residing around Hambantota will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
