Automobile Technician - Intern

McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Manufacturing & Distribution cluster as an Automobile Technician – Intern.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy vehicles.
• Support senior technicians in regular maintenance and repair tasks.
• Learn and apply various automotive repair techniques and systems.
• Ensure safety protocols and cleanliness are maintained in the workshop.
• Assist in the post-repair inspection and testing of vehicles.

Qualifications and skills

• Completed a diploma or NVQ in Diesel Mechanics, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, or related field.
• Strong interest in diesel engine technology and heavy vehicles.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Candidates in close proximity to Wattala will be preferred.
