McLarens group is seeking an aspiring, energetic & a competent individual to join under Manufacturing & Distribution cluster as an Assistant Manager-Industrial Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive B2B sales of industrial lubricants in the assigned region, meeting or exceeding monthly and annual targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and onboard prospective clients through focused lead generation and field visits.
- Prepare and execute detailed weekly and monthly sales call plans to ensure consistent market coverage.
- Conduct regular client meetings, technical presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Manage a portfolio of high-value industrial clients, ensuring strong and sustainable business relationships.
- Organize monthly business review meetings and follow up on service quality and satisfaction levels.
- Lead account receivable follow-ups to maintain timely collections and minimize overdue payments.
- Deliver product training to clients and distributors to enhance understanding and performance usage.
- Liaise with the technical services team to support clients in troubleshooting and application optimization.
- Coordinate new product trials and launches with key customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on industry-focused campaigns, promotions, and PR opportunities.
- Participate in content development for technical brochures, customer newsletters, and advertorials.
- Monitor competitor activity and gather market intelligence to feed into strategic planning.
Qualifications and skills
- 3–5 years of proven experience in industrial/B2B sales (preferably in lubricants).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a client-first mindset.
- Self-motivated with excellent planning, reporting, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willing to travel extensively across assigned regions.
